JAM Executive Summit
Wednesday, May 31 | 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Jenzabar’s Executive Summit is a special prelude to JAM, developed exclusively for Presidents, Vice Presidents, CIOs, and other executives. The program presents dynamic speakers and an opportunity to collaborate with thought leaders and peers on the issues and changes facing higher education.
Adapting to Build Resilient Colleges
Doug Lederman, Editor and Co-founder of Inside Higher Ed, will lead a session on how higher education institutions can adapt and transform to be more resilient in an increasingly complex environment.
Lederman will highlight some of the major challenges facing colleges and universities, including the shifting perceived value of a degree, the impact of changing student demographics, and the staffing turnover crisis. Lederman, alongside other industry thought leaders, will demonstrate how institutions can implement creative new strategies and use modern, digital technologies to attract and retain learners, keep staff happy, and plan for success in an otherwise unpredictable landscape.
The Future-Proofed Campus: Focusing on Students and Sustainability
Jacqui Spicer, President of Baker College, and Chuck Sweet, COO and President’s Chief of Staff at Southern California University of Health Sciences, join Jenzabar’s Omer Riaz in exploring how to make campuses more agile so that institutions can better adapt to change.
The panel will explore how Baker College and Southern California University of Health Sciences continue to drive institutional and student success by focusing on student engagement, risk management, and operational agility. Spicer and Sweet will also discuss how elements like the cloud, student-centric philosophies, and new hiring practices can initiate positive changes across campus.
Right-Fit Students: Enrolling & Retaining Your Most Valuable Community
Steve Kerge, VP of Enrollment Marketing at Spark451, and Omer Riaz, VP of Strategy and Innovation at Jenzabar, will lead a session highlighting our new Strategic Enrollment and Student Retention Suites. These solutions are designed to give you everything you need to identify, attract, enroll, engage, and retain more right-fit students.
This session will explore how our new solutions can help institutions build lasting relationships with learners who are most likely to persist. We’ll also uncover which strategic approaches and technologies can ensure your institution thrives, even as the demographics of your right-fit students shift.
